Platform.sh

Platform.sh is a second-generation platform as a service (PaaS) specifically designed for continuous deployment. It allows you to host web applications in the cloud while making your development and testing workflows more productive.

Platform.sh relies on the underlying infrastructure of infrastructure providers including OVHcloud, and adds a software layer abstracting the infrastructure, allowing the user to benefit from the same services and features and unleash innovation, regardless of the infrastructure foundation chosen.

Software layer :
- Manages the infrastructure down to the application layer (operating system, databases, software), and optimizes server occupancy by increasing infrastructure density (proprietary technology based on large-scale container management). Fewer servers are used to run the same workloads.
- Provides an instant workflow for creating production-identical environments (code, data, dependencies, infrastructure), and a set of tools for developers to optimize their code to reduce the server resources needed.
- Secures web assets and data to meet the security standards required by customers.

With no dependency on the underlying infrastructure provider, the user is freed from the "vendor lock-in" and can benefit from all the innovation brought by Platform.sh and thus freely choose the hosting of their application and data and if required,  in a sovereign manner.
The solution is entirely controlled by GIT, the international standard for code version control. It manages all open source standard technologies on the market.
State of development and deployment of the solution, in particular providing elements attesting to the maturity of the minimum viable product (customer tests already carried out, date of deployment of the solution, number of customers using the solution, etc.) in the form of a written file and/or a link to a multimedia file.
Today, Platform.sh has more than 5000 customers worldwide, including more than 1000 French customers, mostly from the private sector, as well as some public references too. For example, the Carrefour group, Ubaldi, Gault et Millau, Ministry of Culture, etc.
